MILLERS PRIMED TO GET CLIMBING THE TABLE AFTER CUP EXPLIOTS
Carlton Town’s focus moves away from the cup and into the business of attempting to climb the League table after last Saturday’s defeat at Nuneaton Borough.
Carlton were left frustrated after veo footage seen by joint manager Mark Harvey showed striker Alex Hardwick on side last Saturday when he headed the ball home late in the second half before Nuneaton had scored, meaning unfortunately for the Millers, the assistants referee’s mistake proved pivotal and ultimately probably cost them the tie.
There is nothing Carlton can do about now however and the need to focus on the league moves to the forefront of the club’s mind and it starts on Saturday with an away trip to Ossett Town. The coach leaves the ground at 11.30pm and Millers Barn at 12pm and the cost is the usual £15 return. Boatsy as always can be contacted on 07907 064189.
Supporters have let club officials know they have started to get away fatigue and are desperate for some home games and that wish will be granted in the coming weeks with a whole host of home fixtures coming up.
That starts with a barnstorming home fixture on Tuesday 17th October. A massive Thankyou to Chris Underwood and friends, MSR Newsgroup and Kelly Marie Mortgage solutions who have all taken out sponsorship for the big local Derby v top of the table Belper Town.

We have at least one cheque presentation and possibly two as we play catch up after all the away games.
Firework Extravaganza tickets are now on sale at the ground and the event put on by the Millers is one of very few going ahead this year after many cancellations due to cost concerns.
