MILLERS START AT LINCOLN BEFORE MIDWEEK HOME CLASH WITH SUTTON COLDFIELD !

Carlton Town will be traveling away from home for their first league game of the 2019/2020 campaign but they wil not have to far to go, with just a short journey up the A46 to be made for their first fixture at Lincoln United.
Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey will have been watching to see what their first home fixture would be and it’s a midweek game against Sutton Coldfield on Wednesday 21st August 7.45pm.
Carlton will shortly know their cup competition fixtures, but will be boosted by the news that between now and Christmas, they only appear to clash with Nottingham Forest 3 times which last season was a major issue and badly affected Millers gates.
This could change of course depending on cup fixtures but Carlton fans will have been looking for the big local derby’s and Worksop will visit Carlton on Saturday 19th October, with Ilkeston Town coming to Stoke Lane on Easter Monday 13th April 2020, while Carlton visit Ilkeston on Boxing Day.
Carlton are away on August Bank Holiday Monday to Kidsgrove which isn’t a bad thing as the Chairman and a few other supporters will be at Southwell Racecourse raising money for the club.
A home game beckons on New Years Day when Kidsgrove visit Carlton Town and with the make up of the fixtures, the club can announce that this years Big Christmas Draw will take place on Saturday 21st December after the home game v Lincoln United.
On a final note, Chairman Mick Garton would like to thank everyone who has messaged him personally following his fathers death and those who have sent messages through the clubs e mail and social media accounts.
Comfirmed details of Roy’s funeral will follow in due course!
