MILLERS STEP TO THE PLATE FOR PUNJABI FOREST CHARITY DAY !

Carlton Town legend Ian White will come out of retirement to represent a Carlton Town X1 to take on Punjabi Forest in a charity match to raise money for Emmanuel House who do so much to help the homeless in Nottingham.

Whitey pictured with Alex Howes at a recent game, will be at Carlton this Tuesday night again supporting the Millers in their quest for the playoffs, but on Bank Holiday Monday the 6th May, he will be playing for Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial Manager Boatsy who are putting a team together to take on Punjabi Forest.

Boatsy’s son Charlie will be on the team sheet along with the Chairman’s son Josh who will both be paying their £20 to represent the Millers, with all the money going to the Charity.

The game kicks off at 2pm and entry will be by way of a donation on the gate suggested at just £5 for adults and £3 for kids.
Top Nottingham DJ Sanj Beri will be doing a set on the decks and as well as the snackbar and bar being open, there will also be a Punjabi food stall, a bouncy castle and other attractions including a raffle to be drawn in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar after the game.

Nottingham Forest legends Gary Birtles, Colin Barrett and Ian Storey Moore are all set to be in attendance to support the big day at Stoke Lane.

The game is part of Carlton’s vital role in the community to help good causes and the club remember that Punjabi Forest helped them in the not to distant past, further details regarding this event will follow but in the meantime, put it in your diary and comedown if u can and enjoy a cracking afternoon for a good cause.
