MILLERS UPBEAT DESPITE FIRST LEAGUE DEFEAT!

The Carlton Town players, management and supporters remain upbeat despite Carlton’s first league defeat of the season to an impressive Worksop Town.

Yes, Carlton thought their were questions marks over a potential offside call for the first Worksop goal and the Millers bench clearly thought they were denied a clear second penalty, but in fairness to joint manager Mark Harvey when he spoke to Carlton Town Tv, he paid tribute to Worksops tactics,  rather than heap criticism the way of the match officials.

Despite the 3-1 defeat, many of the Carlton faithful stayed behind long after the game in the Clubhouse, some watching the England game, others talking through the afternoons entertainment.

Gaz Bee doing his afternoon stint for Carlton Town Tv complete with pint in hand, which seems to be the new “go to” after the regular appearances of the settee during the close season, spoke with Carlton Town man of the match on the day Niall Davie and joint manager Mark Harvey who were both extremely upbeat despite the first league defeat.

Both Interviews are now on Carlton Town Tv and a full match report will follow as always on the Supporters website.

Carlton have another tough encounter on Tuesday when they visit high flying Stamford, but if they show the same application that they have done in the fixtures so far this season, they are in for a decent campaign and that was something Gaz Bee himself had clearly spotted from the press box!
