MORE GOOD NEWS FROM STOKE LANE AS DAN BROWN EXTENDS HIS CONTRACT!

Carlton Town are delighted to announce that on the back of two excellent new signings this week, they have also extended the contract of talented young defender Dan Brown for another season.

Brown has been one of the massive positives for the Millers during the last two seasons, both sadly cut short by Covid19. He has impressed both managers and supporters alike at both right back and centre half and joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks told us today. ” We have been looking at what areas need strengthening and whom we need to show confidence in going forward and Dan Brown is somebody we have faith in, both in terms of what he has shown so far and what we believe he can do to improve further going forward, we have real belief  in him and are delighted he has agreed to commit to another season with us by agreeing to accept our offer to extend his contract at the club as we attempt to mount another playoff challenge next season ”

Dan also spoke to us earlier admitting he was excited by the new singings this week and telling us “I’m really pleased to extend my contract at Carlton. Although my previous two years at the club have been interrupted due to COVID, I have really enjoyed my time here and feel that I have improved as a player. It’s a great club that is looking to progress and achieve big things.”
