MSR NEWSGROUP LAUNCH APP AS THEY BATTLE TO REPLACE LOST BUSINESS!
Our main sponsors Msr Newsgroup have today launched an App, in their ongoing battle to survive the Corona virus and they owe thanks to a fantastic guy called Andrew Wilson, who got in touch with Dave Fryer at Msr after reading articles in the Nottingham Post and on this website re Carlton’s financial situation and realising how important Msr Newsgroup’s fortunes are to the future of the club.
Andrew offered to build an App for Msr Newsgroup in the hope of ensuring their survival and that of the football club and will only be paid any money for his efforts further down the line if the project is successful.
Andy from Eazi Apps has worked in particular with Steve Scott at Msr, the company’s account manager who was pictured pointing the way outside their flagship Angel Row store today, to build and launch the App.

Andy’s company specialise in App and website development and this website understands Msr have been most impressed with the speed in which it has been put together and with Andy’s fantastic help and are hoping it is a game changer for them as they battle like many other companies to survive this pandemic.
Msr have had to close 3 of their 6 stores, have lost well over 300 vital business accounts and most of their commission based income.
They have already been boosted by their partnership with Castle Rock with beer deliveries going out daily, something which is also helping another of Carlton’s key sponsors in Castle Rock.
Castle Rock Real Ale features prominently on the New App with other beer wines and spirits, jigsaw puzzles, Milk, bread and eggs which also indirectly helps the business of Carlton joint manager Tommy Brookbanks who supplies Dairy products to Msr Newsgroup, Tommy too has lost many of his business customers at this time and his grateful of the support.
Choclolate, sweets, hand sanitizer, face masks , superb offers on Lindt chocolate in particular will excite those looking for something different and value for money with the added bonus, most deliveries can be made within 24 hours locally.
Type into the web browser on your phone https://webapp.msrnews.co.uk/
Follow the on screen instructions, then once it prompts you to add to home screen, do so.
It will now appear on your phone as a app like all your other apps.
