NEW DATE REVEALED FOR SENIOR CUP QUARTER FINAL AND UPDATE ON CLUB FUNDRAISERS AND FIXTURES

Carlton Town can announce that their home Quarter Final Senior Cup match with Gedling Miners Welfare will now take place on Tuesday 25th February at Stoke Lane 7.45pm and their Academy game against Radcliffe scheduled for Wednesday 26th February will now take place on Friday 28th February 1pm, admission to the Senior Cup game will be £5 Adults, £3 concessions and £1 kids.

Carlton are working round the clock to ensure their ground is ready for this Saturday’s clash with high flying Stamford AFC 3pm.

Carlton visit Spalding on Saturday 28th February but are then set for a ridiculously busy March and April with fixtures coming thick and fast and with fund raising events also in the mix , we look ahead to what March potentially has to bring for the Millers.

Carlton visit top of the table and the team expected to win the league Leek Town.

Wednesday 11th March 2020

Carlton host Market Drayton Town at Stoke Lane.

Saturday 14th March 2020

Carlton host Glossop Town at Stoke Lane.

Wednesday 18th March 2020

Carlton host fellow playoff contenders Belper Town and have asked if the game can be played on the Tuesday night, so as not to clash with Nottingham Forest, they are awaiting an answer.

Friday 20th March 2020

An Evening with John O Hare. The former Nottingham Forest and Derby County star is the club’s very special guest in what is a vital fund raiser for the club, to meet its seasonal obligations. The event is kindly sponsored by Castle Rock and Msr Newsgroup and includes a 2 course meal. Carlton host high flyers again , this time in the shape of Cleethorpes Town who are also right in the mix.

Sunday 29th March 2020

Massive fund raising effort is required by everyone at the club for the big Dj event on Sunday afternoon at the Dragon on Long Row, where the money raised will go into the new ground fund set up by Barry and Jackie, with money firstly earmarked for repairs following the storm damage not covered by insurance.

At the heart of the fund is the ambition to improve the stadium including the Car Park, Pitch and extend the Paul Shelton stand among other things, to ensure Carlton can aspire to Bet Victor Premier League football either next season or in the future.

There are certain to be other midweek fixtures scheduled during March given Carlton will now have to play 15 league games between February 29th and April 25th.
