New look reserve team taking shape

The new look reserve team taking shape. Paul Rockley is heading up the team  and set a tough pre season fixtures playing against teams either couple leagues above or very experienced / established teams.

The squad is predominately made up of players that has come through the junior ranks and the education programme at the club. Long may their development continue. Many of them already featured in Mark and Tommy’s preseason fixtures.  The future is certainly looking bright.

As a club we are wanting to give all our junior players  a chance and without the hard work behind the scenes from Sarah Tongue & Babs Urge from the junior section, this wouldn’t be possible! We have a fantastic junior section that will now have a pathway throughout their Time with the club from tots at the soccer school through to the  junior teams, education programme, development Team (that is the next project) adults team, reservse and you never know progress into the first team squads and play semi professional football.

Dan Flint (pictured) included in the first team squad this coming season. Dan has progressed and developed through the club from a young age. He was part of the lions team that won the copa santa competition in Spain
