NEW MARKETING GUY BEN HOPES TO MEET PLAYERS AND SUPPORTERS AS CLUBHOUSE REOPENS!

Carlton Towns latest volunteer Ben Chambers who is set to commence a marketing role for the club is set to introduce himself to players and Supporters alike on Saturday when the clubhouse reopens following the 3 month plus closure due to covid 19.

The players led by Darryl Thomas, Martin Ball and Tom Maddison are keen to engage with Ben and supporters alike have ideas to run by him and Chairman Mick Garton.

The Bar will reopen at 12 midday Saturday with social distancing measures in place and will initially be selling only bottled beer which will include Lager, Cider, Real Ale and Guinness alongside spirits and soft drinks and a limited range of snacks.

Screens have been installed across the bar area and Hand Sanitiser stations are provided, only one person may use the Clubhouse urinals at any one time and disposable face masks will be on sale in the bar at £1 each.

There are numerous posters reminding everyone of the new one metre plus social distancing regulations and any none members of the club attending will need to give their name and address and contact details.

The club has no idea yet of when football at this level will return but feels with the lifting of restrictions, now is the right time to start moving forward again and supporters will have noticed increased activity on our social media platforms this week.

The Chairman has told us, he will put some money behind the bar on Saturday for those turning up and painting etc again and both he, Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey who have also both sent drinks in for the volunteers over the last few weeks are extremely grateful for what the Supporters are doing and have indeed done for the club during this most difficult of periods.

Roger Smith has Sourced and also made donations himself of various paints and equipment over the last few weeks and the club is hoping to have further positive news in the coming days and weeks.
