NEW PLANS FOR BAR FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS ON FUND RAISING !
With virtual every income stream blocked at the moment for Carlton Town due to Covid 19, the Chairman has been speaking to supporters with a view to following up the excellent Matchday experience provided for the Lincoln game.
The supporters are keen to have to have vinyl nights at the ground after selected games, similar to events held at the Dragon, with a view to supporters staying in the bar after games and a mix of Sky Tv football and some decent music might just do the trick.
Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton has held meetings at the ground to look at the possibilities and this website understands the club are looking to put a stage in and some Dj equipment before the next Saturday home game on Saturday 24th October which will also feature another happy hour with discounted drinks and the Sky lunch time kick off.
One of the Trophy cabinets (pictured) will be removed and is available for sale if anyone knows of anyone wanting one and the introduction of a stage at the ground will open up new possibilities for the club to host more Comedy nights, singers and bands at the ground once the current restrictions are lifted in the future.
The improvements in the bar will also hopefully allow the club to let the room out for more functions in the future as they look to improve their Clubhouse income stream.
President Roger Smith has also met with Marstons regarding introducing a new draught lager and Chairman Mick Garton is hoping to announce another Castle Rock guest beer for the Leek game on October 24th.
The Chairman and the board are taking on board ideas put forward by both Players and Supporters in order to improve the Matchday experience and very much hope everyone will support these measures to encourage a vibrant atmosphere at every game and social event with in particular the encouragement being to get new supporters into the Bill Stokeld Stadium.
