PROPOSED EVENT UPDATES AS CARLTON SECURE FORMER FOREST AND DERBY LEGEND FOR SPEAKERS EVENING!

Carlton Town have moved quickly to secure a local footballing legend for their next fund raising evening.

Carlton are facing a number of Challenges off the pitch with money needed for their pitch, Car Park, stand and Floodlights as well as maintenance for their 3G pitch and associated facilities and with a big chunk of money raised over Christmas going towards their stadium rental which had to paid in advance last week, the club clearly needs to be pro active once again going forward.

Chairman Mick Garton and his team are looking at the whole year to see what they will need to put on for the club to continue to meet it’s outgoings and it is clear that with a number of challenges coming up sooner rather than later, the club needs to hit the ground running.

The club are delighted to announce that former Derby County and Nottingham Forest Legend  John O Hare will be appearing at the club at a date to be comfirmed, but this website understands the evening of Friday 20th March is being looked at as a possible date !

The club are close to comfirming race events at Southwell and Easter Sunday is expected to once again be the opening race event of the year and the club are sure to hold events at the Dragon again given last years success and we understand the back end of February is being looked at !

The club are hoping to comfirm a major fundraiser in May featuring a Pool Marathon combined possibly with Darts and a match at the stadium.

The Fireworks Extravaganza is provisionally pencilled in for Friday 30th October and Sir Cliff will return on Friday 20th November for the official Christmas light switch on in 2020 and the Christmas Luncheon has also been brought forward a week and will take place on Friday 27th November this year.

This update will at least help supporters make diary notes as events are firmed up in the coming weeks.
