NEWS UPDATE FROM STOKE LANE AHEAD OF OCTOBER UNCERTAINTY!

The one thing Carlton Town know about October is that weather permitting, they will be away at Chasetown this coming Saturday 5th October, a ground Carlton have a poor record at generally, so the pressure will be on Mark, Tommy and the players to turn that around.

After that who knows, a home Fa Trophy tie definitely on Saturday 12th October, against either Biggleswade or Bedworth and then at the moment nothing! That situation will no doubt change and when it does, we will inform supporters accordingly.

In the meantime, we can report the club are looking for a Matchball Sponsor for the next big Home Fa Trophy game on the 12th October, the cost is £60 for 3 people and pro-rota if a sponsor wants to bring more guests and includes a matchday programme, website coverage, half time hospitality and the chance to pick and present the Carlton Town man of the match award.

The Chairman pictured is really happy with the positive vibes at Stoke Lane at the moment, with the Clubhouse still packed and buzzing, an hour or so after Carlton’s 3-1 win on Saturday.

Firework Extravaganza tickets will go on sale this week and once again Brian can be contacted for tickets. They will also be on sale at Msr Arnold, Angel Row and Radcliffe Road and can be posted out. Finally interviews from the weekend should provide Carlton supporters with a midweek fix as there  is no midweek game this week and watch out for Phil Jennings gate crashing the Chairman’s interview, he really didn’t have a clue 😀
