NIALL DAVIE COMMITS TO THE MILLERS FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

The positive news coming from Stoke Lane continues with joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks today comfirming another Millers favourite had renewed his contract for another season at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

Niall Davey played for the club’s academy and is now a regular in Tommy and Marks side and one of the most popular at the club, a player with flare , excellent work rate and a stinging left foot.

Niall told us

“Really happy to commit to the club for another year, the development of the players and the club as a whole since Tommy and Mark have come in has really allowed the club to evolve and it’s a testament to everyone involved running the football club that players want to sign and re-sign.

I’m really looking forward to getting back to pre-season and hopefully getting a full season of playing which seems a luxury given the last couple of cut short seasons”

Tommy was equally happy and spoke to us earlier

”Really happy Niall committed. Feel his best years are to come. Technically very gifted” and all round fitness superb. We feel an improvement in his assists and goal tally are on the way this season and when he does add that extra to his game the sky’s the limit. Add to that his fantastic attitude it’s a great deal for the club”

As we go to press , we are gutted to learn of an awful leg injury suffered by Millers striker Jordan Smith over the weekend, everyone at the club wishes Jordan all the very best and prays for a full and speedy recovery.
