NOTTINGHAM FOREST LEGEND TO PRESENT TROPHIES ON FRIDAY!

Nottingham Forest legend and now regular Millers supporter at Stoke Lane, Ian Storey-Moore has agreed to be the club’s very special guest at the club’s annual presentation on Friday night 6th May from 7pm.

Ian will help with the presentations in what will now be a very special evening indeed as the Millers celebrate winning the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup for only the 4th time in their 118 year history.

It was Mark Harvey’s first win as a manager of a Senior Cup Competition and Tommy Brookbanks second , but Tommy’s first with Carlton Town.

The Carlton management and players want as many supporters to attend who possibly can and everyone is invited to the event which starts at 7pm

Carlton’s presentation will begin with Dan Goddard announcing the Managers and Players award for the Reserves.

There will be a raffle sponsored by our main Sponsor Msr Newsgroup to raise money for the players accommodation in Merthyr Tydfil for the overnight stay following the pre season friendly on Saturday 9th July.

Boatsy is starting this fund off with a personal donation of £50 and £20 handed to the Chairman at a Leigh Wood event last week for honesty as a thankyou will also go into the kitty, a further £12 for scrap metal handed in my Boatsy means the kitty will have an £82 start.

The second part of the presentations will see awards for the Clubman of the year award, The Chairman’s award, The presidents award, The most improved player and the Managers player.

Pizza’s for everyone will follow before the big awards at the end of the night which will include the Players Player, before Supporters Club Chief Alan Murphy takes to the stage to announce Goal of the Season and the supporters player of the season.

Carlton Town Tv have just released the interview with proud Chairman Mick Garton who spoke to John Bryson on the pitch after the game.
