OLIVER CLARK SIGNS NEW CONTRACT AT STOKE LANE !
Another day and more breaking news from Stoke Lane where new joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks revealed that Oliver Clark had signed a new contract with the club.
Brookbanks told us that goalkeeper Jack Steggles and impressive young midfielder Clark were two players he was keen to work with and he believes he can help Clark take his game to the next level after an impressive first season with Carlton where he was one of the few plus points in a season, where Carlton avoided relegation only because Afc Mansfield failed ground grading.
Clark admitted it had been a learning curve in his first season at step 4 and talked about the Senior Cup Final, his own game and how much he was looking forward to the future having met Tommy Brookbanks and made the decision to commit to the Millers going forward.
Clark sat down with Millers Chairman Mick Garton for Carlton Town Tv and also had a message for the clubs supporters, Clark in conversation with Garton will be going out over the Bank Holiday weekend and both Brookbanks and Garton are confident that supporters will be pleased that Clark is to remain at Stoke Lane and that despite being suspended for nine games during the 2018/2019 season, the youngster has much to offer to the new management duo of Brookbanks and Mark Harvey.
