PLENTY GOING ON AT STOKE LANE AND NAT NOMINATED FOR THAT GOAL !

The first week of pre season has passed us by, but there is still plenty going on at Stoke Lane and around the club.

This Saturday 10th May sees our Junior Section hold their presentation day at the ground from 10.30am onwards and with the forecast good and the 3G pitches opened up along with the snack bar and Clubhouse and a few added extras, it promises to be a cracking few hours at the ground.

On Sunday 11th May, the club hosts the EMPAL Cup Final from 11am with Shire Athletic taking on Notts Medics, admission is only £5 for adults and £2.50 for kids and spectators can pay on the gate with either cash or by credit card at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

On Sunday afternoon, we host a fantastic fund raiser ffrom 3pm for “Band of Builders” and Andy’s Man Club” between two teams organised by friend of the club Mitch who represents the local Jewson branch.
Admission is free for the game, but donations are welcomed on the gate and the Clubhouse will be showing Nottingham Forest v Leicester City on their screens which kicks off at 2.15pm.

This weeks Quick Fire Five has already gone down a storm with supporter “The Bear” from our Lincoln branch in the hot seat and he didn’t disappoint.

Finally, many of you will remember Nat Watson’s wonderful goal at Stoke Lane v Brighouse Town which as been nominated as goal of the month for the final month of the season, it’s certainly one of,  if not the best goal ever scored at Stoke Lane, so please give Nat your vote via the link below.
