PRAISE FOR THE MEDIA TEAM AND IN PARTICULAR JOE AHEAD OF THE BASFORD CLASH AT STOKE LANE

Since Joe Standon joined the Media team, it’s fair to say he has hit the ground running, the matchday programme in our humble opinion is now one of the best in the League, receiving praise on a regular basis from supporters and Joe carried out his first excellent interview for Carlton Town Tv at North Ferriby on Saturday.

Josh Hodgson, John Bryson and Joe make an excellent Media team and are all volunteers, who the club are grateful to and very proud of and we thank them ahead of our clash with Basford United on Wednesday night.

Josh interviewed Former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper and guest speaker of the year Mark Crossley for Carlton Town Tv at the Christmas Luncheon and John’s matchday announcements during the home games have certainly improved the matchday experience for many at Stoke Lane given the feedback the club has had.

Christmas would not have been Christmas without Jane’s mince pies (John’s wife) or without Josh’s Christmas Day interview, this year with Felix the cat and Joe has been the unsung member of this brilliant team with his outstanding contribution.

Joe has improved some crucial elements of the club’s social media output and in particular graphics, suggestions made by club Captain Niall Davie at the start of the season.

His first programme of 2024 features words from the dugout from Phil Jennings and from the supporters club courtesy of Alan Murphy. We have the Matchday playlist, Danny Harkins Ferriby Fish and Chip shop review, Sticky’s Premier League quiz and pictures from the win at Grantham and the defeat at home to Grimsby Borough.

So a big heart felt THANKYOU to our media team volunteers as we begin 2024 and in particular Joe Standon who has stepped up to the plate in a big way for the club.
