AWARDS FOR SONNY AND HAMMAD AND PRESEASON UPON US AND IT ALL STARTS AT BASFORD UNITED!

Carlton Town would like to say a massive congratulations to Sonny Shaw who picked up the prize of Carlton Town’s student of the year and to Hammad Arif who was named player of the year at the ESPFA awards event last week.

ESPFA Academy football is massively important to the Millers and Chairman Mick Garton is working behind the scenes to secure a kit Sponsorship deal for the forthcoming season.

Carlton Town begin their new preseason campaign with a mouth watering trip to Basford United this coming Saturday 10th July 3pm with prices at £6 Adults, £4 concessions and £2 kids with family tickets for 2 Adults and 2 children at only £15.

Carlton are on the road with their friendlies until Saturday 24th July when Merthyr Town are the visitors to Stoke Lane and it is building up to be one of the biggest friendlies in the club’s history, a further update on the fixture will follow shortly.

The Golf Day is also upon us with 16 teams taking part at Oakmere Park on Friday 16th July with support from Marstons Brewery and Msr Newsgroup.

Carlton’s other home friendlies are against AFC Shildon on Saturday 31st July and Frickley on Saturday 7th August.

Carlton have also committed to help further charities during August and September as part of their vital role in the local community and once again further details will follow.
