PRIZES CONTINUE TO COME IN FOR BIG DRAW AS CLUB ANNOUNCE A PLAN B.

Carlton Town have continued to secure fantastic prizes for their big Christmas draw in partnership with Mapperley All Stars.

A four Ball at Ruddington Grange was today donated along with 2 tickets for a panthers game in 2020 along with a  Meal voucher from Bombay in West Bridgford and a Meal for 2 and a bottle of wine at the Poppy and Pint in West Bridgford, it has been a good day indeed for the club!

The club however believes their is a real possibility of Saturday’s game being postponed due to the Thursday evening/ Friday weather forecast.

A heavy downpour on Wednesday left much off the pitch waterlogged and Joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks told us that although he was desperate for the game to go ahead, he was not optimistic.

Much will depend on what happens in the coming hours, but with the club’s big Christmas draw set to take place after Saturday’s game, Carlton in conjunction with draw partners Mapperley All Stars have put a plan B in place.

If Saturday’s game is postponed, the players will train from 1.30pm to 3pm approximately with Dj Gary Hitchcock coming on in the Clubhouse from 3pm, the deadline for handing ticket stubs and money in will be 3.30pm, with the draw set to take place around 4pm.

Hitchcock will remain on the decks till around 5pm to ensure all attending can enjoy a Christmas drink and the club are hoping still to have the cake stall and chocolate offerings from Msr Newsgroup.
