SPECIAL SAUSAGES AND BURGERS FOR FIREWORK EXTRAVAGANZA!

Plans are hotting up for Carlton Town’s annual Firework Extravaganza on Friday 25th October with the gates opening at 5pm at Stoke Lane.

The club are working hard behind the scenes to make the event another success and can today confirm that they have once again teamed up with their friends at Clive Lancaster Butchers to enhance the nights bbq offerings.

As well as the traditional Clive Lancaster succulent Burgers, there will also be their specialty Lamb and Mint Burgers as well as Old English and Lincolnshire Sausages.

As well as Sponsorship backing from April King, the club’s Strategic Development Officer Dave Hodgson has secured some backing from 5 local councillors who have pledged community donations to help support the event.

The event is expensive to stage and many Firework events have been pulled generally in recent years in the community because of this and despite the support, Carlton are still depending on people coming through the turnstiles on the night.

Tickets priced at £15 for Families (2 Adults and up to 3 Children) £6 Adults and £3 Children are now available at three Msr Newsgroup stores.

Front Street Arnold, Angel Row Nottingham and Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford are the Msr stores with tickets.

Finally admission on the gate on the night will be £18 for a family, £7 Adults and £4 Children.

The Firework display has earned legendary status in recent years and Carlton are hoping for a good turn out and more of the same and with Matlock Town now the visitors on the day after, Saturday 26th October, it promises to be an eventful weekend indeed!
