The Merthyr Town friendly meanwhile continues to captures people’s imagination, despite being a month away with sponsors continuing to come forward.
Talk Sport have broadcasted live from Merthyr’s Clubhouse with Jonny Owen during the European Championship with Wales making it through to the knockout stage.
Boatsy continues to look at ways to bring more money in for the club and has suggested we do a mascot Matchday package like Merthyr and many other clubs do and says he will take up the first one by paying for his son Charlie to be mascot for the Merthyr game, he also pointed out that clubs often have more than one mascot.
Boatsy has also Sponsored the Official Man of the Match Awards with supporters being asked to pick one from both sides on the day.
Danny’s Tattoo Parlour have come forward to sponsor the Matchball and Old School Football Clothing Ltd have also been in touch and will sponsor the Matchday Programme for that game.
On Call Recruitment have already been announced as the Matchday Sponsor with the game being the first home friendly on Carlton’s pitch following extensive work over the summer to ensure the pitch is in good shape ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
Carlton play AFC Shildon in their second home friendly on Saturday 31st July, another popular one if the last time they visited is anything to go by, with a decent number of friendly fans travelling down from the North East and Carlton are looking for sponsors for this game with Match Sponsorship at £240 for 6 people and Matchball Sponsorship at £60 for 3 people.
