STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS CARRIED OUT, TURNSTILE COMPLETED AND JOHN O ‘ HARE SELL OUT !

Wednesday 23rd February was another good day for Carlton Town as the new turnstile was completed meaning Carlton can now have seperate home and away entrances to the ground if so required.

A big thankyou to Karl Smith properties who carried out the work and who also carried out storm damage repairs at the Bill Stokeld Stadium this week.

A massive thankyou to Boatsy who has also gone above and beyond in getting this over the line with help in particular from himself and the company he works for Oakfield Construction and others friends of the club’s Commercial and Marketing Manager.

Boatsy will complete the footpath hopefully next Saturday morning ahead of the Halsowen game .

Also a big thankyou to Leicestershire County Cricket Club who donated the Turnstile before lockdown kicked in.

In other good news, the club have announced that the John O’ Hare Evening on Friday 11th March has today sold out with Creative Gift Supplies taking the final table and Lee Carrington taking the final 5 tickets to ensure the second full house in a row.

Three more numbers for the 150 Club have also been sold today , so a big thankyou to Paul Manuel who has taken number 52 and Hugo Manuel who has taken number 116 and finally to John Gorman who has taken number 98.

Only 3 numbers now remain, numbers 63, 74 and 145  and Boatsy can be contacted on 07907 064189 .

Carlton are next in action on Saturday when they visit League leaders Ilkeston Town 3pm at the New Manor Ground, hoping their fortunes on the pitch , can match a progressive week off it !
