STRIKER SEARCH ON AFTER DOUBLE WHAMMY FOR MILLERS!

Carlton Town step into a new week on the lookout for strikers after a double whammy this weekend. First Tommy Brookbanks revealed to us that he and Mark had released Brad Wells from his contract after the striker indicated he wanted to move to Stocksbridge and then Arron O Connor came off injured in the 2-1 defeat to North Shields.

Arron as had a frustrating season with injury and with Tyler Blake moving to Eastwood the previous week, the Millers are clearly on the look out for some fresh firepower.

New loan signing Olly Wilson impressed in the first half against North Shields, but seemed to run out of steam a little in the second half and was substituted, but was definitely a positive for the Millers.

Tommy mentioned the striker situation and was obviously disappointed following the 2-1 defeat when he spoke to Josh Hodgson pitchside after the game.
