SUPPORTERS CLUB PRESS ON AFTER HITTING THE 100 MARK!
The Supporters club last night reached 103 numbers on the 100 club and Supporters Chief Alan Murphy has vowed to continue to increase numbers if more supporters want to get involved.
The iniative has already been massively praised by Chairman Mick Garton, Vice Chairman Barry North and the Carlton Town managers and Murphy told us today, he did not want to turn away money that would benefit the club.
There are people whom are away at the moment and there are others who may want to get involved, but circumstances dictate they can’t at the moment, so Murphy is keen to keep the door open to expand the membership, particularly with Carlton having Bet Victor Premier League aspirations.
After talks with Chairman Mick Garton today , the two agreed that if numbers swelled, extra prizes would be made available and they have agreed that two superdraws will take place during the year with an outstanding extra prize and if more join, that could become a quarterly event.
One thing is certain, everyone at the club is behind this with the first draw set to take place on Easter Monday.
Tonights picture is from president Roger Smith and brings back memories of possibly the best guest speaker we have ever had, he was certainly in the top three, he appears with a player you will all know, one of those who has committed to the 100 draw as well as having had a fantastic season, arise Sir Martin Ball 😄
