THE END OF A MEMORABLE WEEK AND THE START OF ANOTHER BIG ONE.

Carlton Town can look back at the last week with much satisfaction, a hugely successful Friday night off the pitch with Colin Fray was followed by a significant win on the pitch in the Fa Trophy at Stoke Lane on Saturday. The 200 Club draw followed in the bar and the winners are now displayed on the 200 club section of this website, which can be accessed from the menu on the home page.

There was a nice story to from the Millers Chairman who got a tap on the back in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar from a Chasetown supporter (cover picture) he had met randomly in a beach side bar in Chapel St Leonard’s last summer, when down the coast with friends. He had remembered meeting Mick and talking all things non league over a few pints and seeked him out for a catch up. “The two of us agreed at half time that Chasetown should probably be winning, but he commented that our finishing was better and it was in fact his 5th visit to Stoke Lane, I remembered meeting him straight away and it was great that he came and sought me out for a catch up and handshake” said the Millers Chairman.

A big week for the club indeed and another one is upon us starting on Monday when the Millers will find out who they will be playing in the third round qualifying of the Fa Trophy.

This website understands that Firework Extravaganza night tickets will go on sale this coming Tuesday as the Millers build up to another big off the pitch event.

This coming Saturday, there is another monumental trip to the North East when Carlton visit Hebburn. We understand a significant number of Millers fans are travelling to this game with two, possibly three mini buses making the trip as well as the official coach.
