TOBY MOORE IS THE LATEST PLAYER TO COMMIT TO THE MILLERS!
Following a week of excellent fund raising at Stoke Lane which has significantly helped two Charities and indeed Carlton Town themselves, focus for joint managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey inevitably turned back to getting the right squad in place for next season and this website is delighted to announce that Central defender Toby Moore has become the latest player to agree to extend his contract with the club.
Chairman Mick Garton told us ” I know how highly Tommy and Mark rate Toby and at only 21 years old, they believe he has a great future in the game and I totally agree with that, he is strong, committed and has been a revelation since he was signed by Wayne Scott and he continues to get better and better and the club are delighted he has committed to stay” said the Millers Chairman.
We also caught up with Toby who had been training at the ground on his own, a positive sign indeed, he told us
“I’m delighted to sign a new contract extension with Carlton Town, The club has a really good feel to it at the minute and I hope we can carry this onto the pitch for when the new season starts.
Tommy and Mark have been brilliant for me over the last 2 season and really helped me develop.
I can’t wait for the season to start after having 2 seasons cut short it will be nice to have a full league campaign and hopefully gain promotion”
Positive sentiments indeed and more good news as we continue to edge back to normality.
