TOUGH AWAY DRAWS FOR MILLERS IN THE TWO BIG CUPS !

Carlton Town will have to overcome newly promoted Quorn Fc away from home on Saturday 5th August, if they are to progress in the Fa Cup next season. The Leicestershire side were promoted to the Northern Premier League and placed in the Midlands League after winning their playoff game 5-0 last season, impressive indeed.

If the Millers do get past Quorn, they will be at home to either Maltby Main or Pindbeck United on Saturday 19th August.

In the Fa Trophy, Carlton travel to Coleshill on Saturday September 9th. Coleshill made the playoffs in the Northern Premier Midlands League last season and will doubt also prove tough opposition for the Millers.

Whichever teams wins this game will play Shepshed Dynamoes or Chasetown in the next round at home on Saturday 23rd September.

Shepshed visit Stoke Lane on Saturday 29th July for a friendly game in memory of our Vice President Jackie North who sadly passed away in June.

A reminder that the game v Lincoln United has been moved to this coming Wednesday to allow those at the club wishing to attend Jackie’s funeral in Leicestershire at the Gilrose Cemetery and Crematorium which is on Groby Road LE 3 9QG this coming Tuesday 4pm followed by a The Wake at The Queen Victoria Pub 76 High Street systolic LE7 1GQ.
