WILLIAM GUNN QUIZ NIGHT SECURES £404.00 FOR THE MILLERS!

Carlton Town would like to extend a massive Thankyou to Nottingham Forest Commercial Manager Simon Fotheringham and The William Gunn Pub in West Bridgford for choosing Carlton Town to be this months beneficiary of their quiz night.

The Carlton Town Committee turned out in force with Chairman Mick Garton joined by, Boatsy, Mad Gav, Dave Hodgson, Greg Last, Tim Bee, Gaz Bee, Supporters chief Alan Murphy and organiser Kelly Mitchell and a number of Millers supporters.

It wasn’t a Millers team that came out on top, but some definitely did better than they expected and a good night was had by all.

Kuki Morley, a friend of the late Brian Dennett won the main prize provided by Msr Newsgroup in the fund raising raffle and the club raised a brilliant £404 towards the Energy Bill.

Chairman Mick Garton paid tribute to Kelly for organising the event on the clubs behalf .

”It was Kelly who put us forward and Kelly who was the driving force on the night, she has been a fantastic addition to our commitee and Commercial team and we are all really grateful of the contribution she is making, a real doer who who is delivering for the club”

Attention on the fund raising switches to one of the club’s annual events on Friday as part of the clubs overall annual budget, when former Forest and Spurs star and current highly respected Sky Tv pundit Michael Dawson attends a sold out Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.
