ZAK HILL TO CAPTAIN MILLERS ELEVEN IN PUNJABI FOREST CHARITY MATCH.

Young Carlton Town star Zak Hill will captain a mixture of the young ,old and indifferent for Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial Chief Gary “Boatsy” Clarke as they take on a Punjabi Forest team at Stoke Lane on bank holiday Monday  2pm.

Punjabi Forest have been training at the ground in preparation for Monday’s clash and Carlton know they are in for a tough game indeed.

Club legend Ian White is coming out of retirement for the game along with Andy May and former MSR Star player Grant Walton.

Charlie Clarke and Josh Garton will be making their Carlton Town debuts along with Radio Nottingham presenter Arun Verma.

Zak’s dad Greg is set to play at the back as a solid defender and his brother Jonah is expected to be a threat from the wing.

The game being played to raise money for Emmanuel House is being supported by Forest Legends Ian Storey-Moore and Colin Barnett, who will both be in attendance and with a Bouncy Castle and a Punjabi Food stall to back up the usual snack bar and Howard Mitchell Sportsbar and a raffle with some smashing prizes, it should be a cracking afternoon at Stoke Lane.

Top Nottingham Dj Sanj Beri will be on the decks playing a top set to and admission is via donations on the gate.

There will also be a number of young local kids receiving coaching on the pitch before the big game with the gates open from 11am at Stoke Lane.
