100% record at stoke lane for the reserves

For the 3rd time this season the reserves played at stoke lane under the lights. They maintained there 100% win record against an established Ripley Town  Side.

Fairly equal game Both teams creating chances, with the best chance falling to ripley mid way through the 1st half, with a good goal line clearance from Jacko.

Carlton had the fair share of possession, played some lovely keep ball to make Ripley  work, but ripley did look dangerous on corners and set plays in around the box, unfortunately unable to capitalize.

The carlton team looked dangerous themselves going forward with the link up play through the lines  and was only going to be  a matter of time before they score!

The goal came on the 80th minute with some nice play throughout the team,  Ellis cut in from the left and played a nice through ball for Harrison who slotted the ball past the Ripley keeper.

On reflection Ripley unlucky not to take anything from the game, but credit to Carlton played until the end, shown tenacity,  energy & togetherness.
